For a unique experience, come stay
at the Algonquin Radio Observatory's house. We offer
fourteen comfortable non-smoking bedrooms
with queen sized or twin beds furnished in a comfortable country style.
Beverage facilities are provided in all rooms. Bathrooms are close by.
Families or groups can book an entire wing for extra privacy: the Tycho
Brahe wing offers three bedrooms with a private bathroom; the Galileo
wing offers five bedrooms with two bathrooms. In keeping with the natural setting, there are no
televisions, phones or radios in rooms; however, satellite television is
available in the lounge and library. Canoes are available for use by
researchers and guests. The house has a direct line phone, and there is an Internet
connection in the library. Our small shop is open to guests.
Rooms located on the North side of the house have a view of Lake
Travers.
